Location: Daereungwon Tomb Complex royal tombs
Daereungwon Tomb Complex royal tombs

Huge grassy mounds right in the center of Gyeongju — beneath them rest the kings and nobles of the ancient Silla kingdom. Inside one of the tombs, Cheonmachong, you can see real gold crowns and jewelry found during excavations. A place where ancient history literally rises above the ground — looking like something between a cemetery and a work of landscape art.

Location: Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond royal palace
Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond royal palace

A summer residence of the Silla-era crown with an artificial pond that was the center of court festivities and receptions. By day — calm views and buildings reflected in the water; by evening, the palace becomes one of the most beautiful spots in Gyeongju: the lights fall on the pond so that the water itself seems to glow.

Location: Beomeosa Buddhist Temple
Beomeosa Buddhist Temple

Beomeosa Temple was founded more than 1,300 years ago and is an important spiritual center of Korea. Here you can see traditional architecture and Buddhist rituals and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Its observation deck offers panoramic views of Gyeongju and its surroundings. The park shows how modern culture and architecture can blend harmoniously with the history of the ancient Silla kingdom.

One of Busan's most colorful and recognizable neighborhoods, known as the "Korean Santorini." It's a maze of narrow lanes, multicolored houses, art installations and observation decks. A walk through the village offers an atmosphere of creativity, street art and charming views, and photos taken here always turn out truly picturesque and memorable.

Everything is buzzing here: music from the shops, the aroma of street food, flashing neon signs and rows of cosmetics that make your eyes wander. At every step – K-beauty brands, trendy clothing, face masks featuring K-drama characters, perfumes, jewelry and original souvenirs. Myeongdong is a place where you want to touch, taste and try on everything. It's easy to get carried away and lose track of time.

Good
To Know

  • US and Australian passport holders can generally visit South Korea visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. The temporary K-ETA exemption runs through 31 December 2026. For travel in 2027, check the rules for your passport and arrival date before departure; do not assume the exemption continues.

We help you check the documents for your programme and assist with K-ETA when required. Language study, longer stays and other passport types may have different requirements. Entry approval is decided by Korean immigration.

Official guidance: US passport holders · Australian passport holders · K-ETA

  • You purchase your plane tickets yourself. Once the group is confirmed, we'll send you a list of recommended flights with convenient connections and arrival times. That way, you can choose and buy your ticket directly from the airline or through whatever service you prefer, keeping flexibility and control over the price.
  • For personal spending (souvenirs, cafes, cosmetics, street food), $200 to $400 for the whole trip is usually enough. The amount depends on your habits and plans for the trip — Korea is generous with pretty little things and tasty temptations 😊
  • Participants arrange their own medical insurance. Throughout the tour, a guide will always be with you to help in any situation and, if needed, accompany you to a clinic or pharmacy.
  • Throughout the tour, participants stay in a university dormitory in double-occupancy rooms. Each room has separate beds, a personal desk and a private bathroom. Rooms are assigned by gender and age. The dormitory has Wi-Fi, a laundry room, a gym and lounges.

answers to popular questions

Summer Language Camp in Busan

  • Yes, the summer language camp in Busan is suitable even for beginners. We provide escorts and transfers, help with the necessary paperwork and offer 24/7 support. So even if this is your first adult language camp, you'll feel confident and at ease.
  • The language camp in Busan suits any level of Korean, whether you've studied the language for a year or are starting from scratch. At the beginning, there's a short placement test, after which participants are divided into groups. Beginners quickly master basic phrases, while continuing learners boost their speaking skills and expand their vocabulary for everyday situations in Korea.
  • The Korean language courses in Busan are open to participants aged 13 to 35 — this age limit is set by the host university. Sometimes we're able to arrange participation for people above this age, so if you'd like to go, send a request on our website and we'll check whether you can be added to the group.
  • If you're planning a trip to a language school in Busan with your child, we have separate sessions for kids and teens with their peers. The adult and teen programs differ in format, schedule and the level of responsibility of the guides, so we keep the groups separate to make everyone as comfortable and safe as possible.

Practical questions

  • Participants study with qualified native-speaking teachers at BUFS (Busan University of Foreign Studies). Classes are held on weekdays from 09:00 to 12:00, creating the atmosphere of real student life. After class, there are excursions, workshops, cultural events and shopping, so that learning is combined with leisure and immersion in Korean culture.
  • Yes, of course. The Korean language program in Korea is well balanced: classes and signature sightseeing routes alternate with free time, when you can stroll around Busan, drop into cafes, or simply relax on the coast. We intentionally leave time so you can feel the atmosphere of Korea and experience it for real, not just by the schedule.
  • Participants stay in a modern dormitory on campus — a safe, convenient, and cozy space. Rooms are for two people, with separate beds, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and all the necessary furniture. In terms of comfort, they're closer to hotel apartments. Classrooms, the cafeteria, and lounge areas are close by, so everything you need is literally within walking distance.

Prices and payment

  • Yes, we offer an in-house installment plan. The number of payments depends on how much time is left before the tour starts: the earlier you book, the more installments you can split the payment into and the easier it is to spread out the cost.
  • Yes, it's best to buy and book a language camp in Korea in advance. That way you guarantee your spot at the camp, especially in summer, when tourism in Korea is at its busiest. It's convenient for those who like to plan ahead and want to feel confident about their trip.
