This notice applies to enquiries made through the English Korean Simple Travel pages at ksimple-travel.com. The company responsible is Korean Simple Co., Ltd, registration number 341-87-01842, Republic of Korea. Address: 6, Yeouidaebang-ro 65-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. For questions or requests about your personal information, email contactus@koreansimple.com.
The enquiry form requests your name, phone number and email address. It also includes your selected tour, travel dates, the page from which you enquire, campaign parameters in that page address, and your consent. We use this information to respond to your questions, discuss your travel plans and prepare a proposal. Sending an enquiry does not make a booking or commit you to a payment.
Please do not enter passport details, payment card details, health information or other sensitive information in the initial enquiry. If additional information is needed for a booking, the team will explain what is needed and why before collecting it.
Your approximate country may be determined from your IP address to suggest a phone country code. You can change the country manually. Precise GPS location is not requested. Where country information is unavailable from the hosting service, the page can contact Country.is for an IP-to-country lookup. That service receives your IP address; your name, phone number, email address and enquiry are not sent to it.
Hosting services may process IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect the pages. The page uses temporary session storage to remember your selected tour, dates and campaign attribution while you browse. The selected phone country code is included with your enquiry. Links to Instagram and WhatsApp and embedded video players are operated by their respective providers and are subject to those providers’ privacy notices.
Enquiries are handled by the Korean Simple Travel team in the Republic of Korea. When the enquiry delivery service is enabled, your enquiry is stored in Google Sheets using Google Apps Script so the team can follow up. Google processes that data as a service provider. Service providers involved in hosting, communication and managing enquiries may process the information needed to provide those services. Information sent from another country may therefore be processed in Korea or in locations used by the selected service providers. If a booking requires information to be shared with a hotel, university, transport provider or another travel partner, the team will explain the relevant arrangements before collecting or sharing it.
Enquiry information is retained for the period needed to respond to your request and manage the resulting communication, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. When the information is no longer needed and there is no requirement to retain it, it should be deleted or anonymised. You can ask the team about the retention period applicable to your enquiry. Access should be limited to people and service providers who need the information for these purposes.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent, or ask the team to stop contacting you, subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact contactus@koreansimple.com. The team may need proportionate information to verify your request. For an enquiry about a minor, a parent or legal guardian should provide their own contact details and contact the team on the minor’s behalf.
Changes to this notice will be published on this page with an updated date. The team will provide additional information when a change affects how your personal information is handled.
